New Editions – Units 1-2

A new School Year and a new edition of Units 1-2, the first part of the SpeakYourMind programme. SpeakYourMind is an excellent method for most beginners - it provides a unique balance between speaking practice and a clear structure. The new edition of the book is the result of years of experience and observation in a wide range of practical teaching situations with learners of different backgrounds and different nationalities. The new book follows the content of the previous edition but it contains improved and expanded explanations, and updated examples and dialogues. The number of these examples and dialogues has doubled, providing learners with plenty of focussed reading practice. The new book introduces American English from the start, with many dialogues featuring American characters.

The new Units 1-2 now contains an extra 30 new exercises, including simple and clear activities fro pronunciation and stress. Like the new editions of Units 3-4 and Units 5-6, the 2011 Student Book now contains a simple grammar reference guide in the index.
