SpeakYourMind is a widely accessible course for adult learners from a wide cross-section of backgrounds and ages. The course provides you with the day-to-day language that you need in a wide range of situations, whether you use your English for pleasure, for travel or for work.
SpeakYourMind is also successful with younger learners and most schools organise courses for ages 11 onwards. Some schools run dedicated courses for very young learners: these courses do not use the SpeakYourMind method.
If you plan to take an exam in English, the SpeakYourMind programme will take you through to the required level and give you the command of the language that you will need. Most schools run short specific exam-prep courses for students. For example a 15-lesson module prepares students for the Cambridge PET, and a 25-lesson module for the Cambridge FCE is standard in many SyM schools.
As for results? As an example, the Wornham School in La Coruna, Spain regularly enters around 150 students annually for Cambridge EFL exams and has a pass-rate of around 90%.
SpeakYourMind is designed to be effective for groups and for 1-to-1 courses and most schools will offer that choice. Many corporate clients have seen the real advantages that language-training with SpeakYourMind can provide; international clothing groups Zara and Calzedonia are just two of our long-term clients.
For a list of schools in the SpeakYourMind network take a look at the Around the World page.
All schools within the network operate independently and have their own policy on class-size, lesson-frequency, course duration and prices.
What the schools do have in common is their commitment to assuring high standards. As a student you know what to expect whether you study in Bilbao or in Tokyo, and whether you study in 2010 or 2014.

"What I really like is that you can have a factory worker, a student and a marketing executive all in the same class and they're all learning and all enjoying it. It's very open and everyone gets their fare share of the lesson."
