THE LEVELS

SpeakYourMind is a single, complete learning programme from beginner level to advanced level. The complete programme is measured in levels called Units. In total there are 18 Units.
The programme is linked to the European Common Framework which defines 6 levels of ability to use a foreign language: A1 - C2 (see map below).
The clear structure of the SpeakYourMind programme enables students to set clear short-term and long-term objectives.

Progress

One big advantage of SpeakYourMind for students is that it is 'level-specific'. The design and structure of the programme allows new students to be accurately placed at their real level when they begin their course.

Speed: more English in less time

Learning a language - especially for adults - is not always easy or quick. Although SpeakYourMind makes learning simple and enjoyable for many people who found English confusing, boring or just very difficult at school, we do not have a magic formula.

Learning times can vary a lot from individual to individual and from region to region but experience in SpeakYourMind schools in Europe shows that on average, each Unit of the programme usually requires between 25 and 35 hours to complete.
For example, beginners normally reach A2 level of the European Common Framework in around 100 - 120 hours as opposed to the 200 hours indicated as necessary by the Council of Europe.
